Global Banking & Markets, Alternatives/Product Team, Associate - New York

The Goldman Sachs Advisory Services team is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Alternative Investment team. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional customer service and administration servicing for our clients’. As a Senior Specialist , you will act as an intermediary between the funds and their investment managers as well as serve as the official record keeper for the funds. You will also work closely with the operations analysts on the team.  Client engagement and a dedication to quality service is a must for success.

Job Role:

• Maintain alternative investment platform, including fund and marketplace maintenance
• Produce and maintain platform collateral with division marketing partners
• Provide training for processes and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders
• You will correspond with external investment managers regarding day-to-day fund inquiries including reconciliations, coordinating scheduled deliverables, and escalation concerns. 
• Capacity and passion to learn and train others, including Registered Investment Advisors
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude during times of heavy volume and/or change
• Strong analytical, research, data entry and prioritization & communication skills
• Positive attitude and a strong teamwork mindset
• Detail orientated
• Strong ability to define and document workflows and procedures

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$225000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
