About You
The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing high quality administrative support to the Dean and Senior Manager, School Operations in the School of Engineering. This role will provide dedicated executive support to the Dean and limited support to designated members of the School Executive, as requested by the Dean. This position will contribute to supporting the day-to-day operation of the school office and will work as part of team supporting the overall school function. This will include working closely with a range of College and University services to maintain smooth operations within the school.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in an administrative/operations/executive support role with the ability to work proactively and autonomously.
Exceptional organisational, planning and administrative skills, with experience in establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated capacity to work independently, show initiative and exercise discretionary judgement.
Strong relationship skills with proven ability to liaise constructively and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders on complex, sensitive and confidential issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to draft correspondence of a very high standard to internal and external stakeholders
Exceptional attention to detail in all matters.
Proven high level of computer literacy including Microsoft suite, email, internet and electronic document document management such as SharePoint.
