Summer Intern 2024 - Product Line Management

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Summer Intern 2024 - Product Line Management to join our growing team.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The JELD-WEN Summer Internship Program empowers talented undergraduate students to gain real-world working experience and professional development in one of many potential business areas. This position is focused on the Product Line Management business area. The internship program includes meaningful projects and challenging work assignments geared at developing professional competencies and skills in a chosen discipline. Additionally, throughout the summer internship, participants will have the opportunity for professional development, mentoring, and networking opportunities to help enhance future leadership.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO          

This internship will take place in our Charlotte, NC Corporate Headquarters. This position allows for a hybrid style work schedule, with a minimum of 2 days per week being ‘in office’ days.

Examples of opportunities that this intern may receive: 

• Analyze data from customer and product sales
• Determine profitable products based on customer data
• Learn about JELD-WEN products an understand our different customer types
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather information from key stakeholders across multiple business units (HR, Finance, Operations, Engineering, etc.)

 

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION

Required

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a major or concentration in: Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Manufacturing or other relevant major; with an anticipated graduation date in 2024 or 2025 (rising junior or senior)
• Demonstrated work ethic and detail-orientation
• Intermediate Excel Proficiency (V-Lookups and Pivot Tables)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and visual)
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Leadership experience and relationship-building skills
• Ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment and work at a high level of execution

Recommended

• Minimum GPA 3.0
• Relevant internship or previous work experience is desired
• Adept at project management
• Collaboration and teamwork
