JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Owner with a strong background in implementing Professional Services Automation (PSA) software solutions. This role is a unique opportunity to join our team and lead the selection process and successful implementation of a PSA platform that will enhance our organization's efficiency and effectiveness to support DEPT®’s  growth. As a Product Owner - PSA, you will play a critical role in guiding our organization through the process of selecting and implementing a PSA system. You will leverage your extensive experience in PSA software to participate in the assessment, selection, and successful integration of a PSA solution that aligns with our business goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for the ongoing management and optimization of the selected PSA platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• PSA Selection and Evaluation: Lead the evaluation of PSA software solutions, working closely with stakeholders to identify requirements, conduct vendor assessments, and make recommendations for selection.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document detailed business requirements, ensuring alignment with the chosen PSA solution.
• Product Roadmap: Define and communicate a clear product roadmap for the PSA platform, outlining implementation milestones and timelines.
• PSA Implementation: Oversee the implementation of the selected PSA system, ensuring successful deployment, configuration, and integration with existing systems and processes.
• Internal Processes: Define processes needed (within and outside of the tool) to ensure all KPI’s for the tool are met. 
• People: Similar to the internal process, define what people are needed for each process within the tool and compare to what people and processes we have today.
• Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of the PSA platform across the organization.
• Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with PSA software vendors, managing vendor contracts, and ensuring ongoing support and updates.
• User Training: Coordinate training programs to enable employees to effectively use the PSA platform and maximize its capabilities.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance and usage of the PSA platform, making data-driven decisions to optimize its functionality.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with development, IT, and other relevant teams to implement and customize the PSA platform as needed.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, policies, and procedures related to the PSA platform.
• User Feedback and Improvement: Solicit and incorporate user feedback to drive continuous improvement of the PSA platform and its features.
