Remote position with travel required. Prefer candidate located in Charlotte, NC area for in person event participation. Local to Advocate Health Geography (Charlotte, IL, WI) with travel required.

Prefer candidate with experience in or partnering with post secondary education administration

Pay Range

$73.90 - $118.25

Major Responsibilities

• Design and oversee career development programs that align with the organization's mission, focusing on clear pathways to
• employment and advancement for community members.
• Foster a supportive environment for talent growth by developing resources, tools, and initiatives that empower individuals to progress in their careers.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to integrate career development strategies with the organization's overall talent
• management and workforce development objectives.
• Build relationships with community partners, educational institutions, and local organizations to enhance program outreach and participation.
• Regularly assess and refine programs to meet evolving organizational needs and community goals, ensuring programs are impactful and inclusive.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for career development programs and regularly report on outcomes to senior leadership. Use data to identify trends, demonstrate impact, and drive program enhancements.
• Budgetary Accountability: Manage the department's budget, including allocating resources for program delivery, staff salaries, and community outreach initiatives. Ensure fiscal responsibility by tracking expenses, forecasting financial needs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining program quality.
• Monitor the delivery of career development programs, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and compliance with any relevant regulations or funding requirements. Evaluate program outcomes and make data-driven adjustments to meet evolving needs.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Organization Development, Human Resources or related field

Certification / Registration / License

Work Experience

Typically requires 7 years of experience in career development, talent management, or workforce development roles, with at least 3 years supervisory experience.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Strategic thinking with a results-oriented approach to program design and evaluation.

Ability to effectively analyze and recommend effective solutions to problems.

High level of proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite or similar products.

Expertise in leading projects which includes planning the key milestones of the project and identifying key project activities. Ability to develop proposals and successfully implement programs.

Knowledge of workforce development planning, practices and techniques, including meeting with key stakeholders to ensure the success of projects and initiatives, as well as project financials.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions. Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job. Exposed to a normal office environment.
