The Role: 

The ForgeRock Autonomous Engineering team is building the next generation of identity and access management powered by AI/ML approaches. The team is rapidly evolving the Autonomous Identity solution to address key use cases in cybersecurity, consumer privacy and regulatory compliance. This role will contribute to development of various features for core services in Autonomous products stack.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design clean abstractions and API specifications to implement new features
• Design and develop cloud native services including deployment concerns like load balancing, monitoring and metrics, logging and tracing
• Ability to quickly prototype and prove concepts using full stack frameworks
• Write efficient unit and integration tests to automate quality and the release pipeline
• Build modular code emphasizing readability, security, and clean dependency management
• Contribute to the design and development of large-scale, robust, and cutting-edge polyglot microservices
• Leverage continuous delivery tools to securely deploy microservices to various environments and ensure SLAs for uptime, latency and throughput across multiple data centers
• Participate in on-call rotation for the Autonomous set of services

If you find yourself checking off most of the below, this could be the position for you!

• 5+ years of experience with Javascript / ES6 / Typescript with solid knowledge of Node.js and Express.js
• Strong grasp of web security including authentication headers, JWT, scopes and cookies
• Experience securing Node.js applications from XSS and other vulnerabilities like OWASP Top 10
• Experience developing unit and end to end tests using technologies like Chai/Mocha/Sinon/istanbuljs/Cypress
• Experience documenting REST APIs following OpenAPI specifications
• Experience with VueJS is nice to have
• Experience with elasticsearch is nice to have
• Experience with identity lifecycle and identity governance is a plus
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
