Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First-Line Product & Service Quality Manager (Level K) to support the Composite Wing Center 777/777X Quality Organization in Everett, Washington.
The ideal candidate will be a reliable and competent professional who possesses the ability to work well across diverse groups and effectively collaborate across organizational boundaries. The candidate will be a problem solver who relies heavily on data and analysis to drive decisions and a leader who can effectively implement solutions in an ever-evolving environment. Transformational leadership skills will be necessary to build team engagement and lead quality team members in executing lean principles to include standard work and the One Boeing Production System. The ideal candidate will exhibit resilience and tenacity in implementing improvements in an established and regulated production and quality system.

Position Responsibilities
- Manage employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
- Provides education and coaching on the Quality System
- May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies
- Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- 3+ years of experience leading teams to execute to safety, quality, delivery & cost commitments, and utilizing production systems
- 3+ years of experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality
- 3+ years of experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)
- Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the organization
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Experience working with cross functional teams, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication
- 1+ years of experience with nondestructive testing (NDT)
- Familiarity with ASNT standards
- 1+ years of experience utilizing systematic problem-solving models to identify process problems, perform root cause analysis, define and implement corrective actions, and monitor and control results.
