Senior Poster Artist

<p>As our company is growing and we’re selling more and more posters, we’ll need another one player in the Displate Art Team. A true heavy-hitter whose mastery of arts may be equalled only by his grit in the world of American <strong>sports and pop-culture.</strong><br/></p><p><strong>What will you do?</strong></p><ul> <li>Designing posters from ready-made elements (i.e. provided by the brand owners, such as NFL, NBA, MLB, MARVEL, Lucasfilm, Fox, Blizzard, DC Comics etc.) and give them an unique look</li> <li>Designing posters from the scratch (from the mood board to the final design) in various styles (e.g. collages, typography, photo and graphic editing, drawing and digital painting</li> <li>Reformatting and preparing to print ready-made projects according to specification</li> <li>Collaboration with Team Leader, Art Director and Project Owners (operating in flexible working time that would fit the USA time zones)</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul> <li>Understanding the differences between printed and digital materials and the basics of printing</li> <li>Outstanding level of digital drawing and painting skills</li> <li>Design skills in a few selected kinds of esthetics (Especially those prevalent in American culture like American vintage, comic book styles, propaganda posters etc.)</li> <li>experience in creating art related to sports and a high degree of interest in sports (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL)</li> <li>Taking care of high-quality of the designs</li> <li>Working knowledge of Adobe software (mainly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)</li> <li>Passion for challenges related to creating collections for brands from various categories (games, movies, TV shows, anime, comics and, especially: America’s favorite sports like Baseball, Football, Basketball, Hockey)</li> <li>Advanced English</li> <li>USA or PL located with openness to work in a different time - California time zone (PDT, 5 hours ahead)</li> </ul><p><br/></p><p><br/>Only CV with the portfolio will be considered.
