The Center for Youth & College Education (CYCE) provides opportunities for students and educators to explore healthcare careers through interactive learning experiences, guest speakers and field trips. CYCE also offers paid summer internships and pathway programs that prepare participants for future employment or certification in clinical, nonclinical and technology-based roles. As an Administrative Program Coordinator, you will assist in the coordination and development of innovative policies and improvement initiatives, serving as a liaison across departments to enhance efficiency and support world-class patient care. This position plays a key role in advancing pipeline programming by engaging with students and educators to help build the next generation of caregivers within a dynamic and rapidly growing area of healthcare.

A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This position offers the opportunity for a hybrid schedule following the new hire period and may require occasional travel to other campuses for internal outreach.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • With guidance from the Director, lead or coordinate multiple projects and policy initiatives.

  • Update, monitor and manage databases.

  • Develop scorecards and milestones to track progress.

  • Analyze project improvement and progress.

  • Report on discrepancies and variances.

  • Coordinate project prioritization and assist with policy and initiative implementation.

  • Assist with scheduling, coordination, preparation and communication of meetings with internal and external partners.

  • Attend meetings and record key outcomes.

  • Support all office administrative functions.

  • Develop and maintain updates.

  • Manage multiple trainee schedules and documentation of visas.

  • Coordinate Student Shadowing onboarding and Student Shadowing hosts for the CYCE Student Shadowing Program.

  • Assist with instructional design for Connected Career Rounds With guidance from Program Manager IIIs, coordinate various aspects of the Student Shadowing, Speakers Bureau, Connected Career Rounds and Middle School Career Exploration programs.

  • Update, monitor, and manage Clinician Nexus (CN) data with guidance from the CN support team.

  • Conduct onboarding through SilkRoad for student shadowing programs and other programs.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Associate's Degree and two years of administrative experience or customer
    service

  • OR High School Diploma/GED and four years of experience

  • OR Bachelor’s Degree 

  • Computer skills and experience with software applications

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field 

  • Healthcare experience or related organization
