Job Description
Compass Government Solutions is currently hiring Medical Support Assistants for roles at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz Department of Veterans Affairs Center in Philadelphia and the surrounding clinics in Philadelphia and New Jersey to provide on-site care for military Veterans. This is a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility, and we are looking for someone to provide excellent care.
Responsibilities of the Medical Support Assistant:
The Medical Support Assistant will perform support work related to the care and treatment of Veterans to include:
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Tracking, reviewing, and responding to electronic orders, consults, and other elements in the electronic Medical Record
• Assist with clinic access contingency plans by adjusting appointment times/locations/dates
• Ensuring patient safety standards are met by using the correct Veterans Affairs identification of all patients
Qualifications
Qualifications of the Medical Support Assistant:
• 2 Year degree in a medical profession
• 3 years of experience in a medical setting
• Professional certification from an accredited medical organization
