Job Description
We are looking for research interns (spring/summer/fall 2023) to join our research team in developing new machine learning/deep learning algorithms for various real-world applications of AI, including but not limited to: self-supervised learning, foundation models, zero/few-shot learning, adversarial robustness, computer vision, semantic segmentation, deep probabilistic modeling, and physics-based machine learning. This internship role will focus on the following responsibilities:
- Design and development of novel Deep Learning algorithms, implementation and evaluation using multi-modal Bosch data from application areas such as manufacturing, autonomous driving and robotics
- Technical discussions and creation of new ideas within the existing Deep Learning research team, in order to improve upon the existing solutions
- Clean, efficient, and well-documented implementation of new deep learning methods
- Code contributions to our deep learning framework
- Publish at leading AI conferences, and ultimately shape the future of Bosch products and services.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or starting a PhD degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics
- 2+ years of programming experience, in particular Python + PyTorch / jax
- 2+ years of experience in Machine Learning, or Deep Learning
- Broad knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms and principles
- Established publication record in Machine Learning or Computer Vision or related fields
- Excellent communication skills
