About the role

As a Senior Product Operations Manager you will report to the Senior Director of Product Operations and be accountable for driving operational excellence in the product life cycle to accelerate the achievement of outcomes. You are a subject matter expert on product operations concepts and best practices with experience increasing the impact of product development teams in B2B SaaS companies. Obsessed with enabling product success teams to do their best work, you are passionate about helping the whole company work better together on behalf of the customer. You will listen closely to understand needs and work collaboratively to right size solutions to get the right outcome. You have an entrepreneurial mindset, are resilient, and proactively navigate the business to find solutions to complex problems. Treating operations like a product, you focus on ‘the why’, adapt, and make incremental progress everyday to create big impact over time. 

  • This position is hybrid preferred in the Lehi, UT headquarters 
  • Reports to: Senior Director of Product Operations

What You Will Own 

  • Regularly examine the holistic customer experience and identify opportunities to improve it by optimizing product operations
  • Define, manage, optimize, and measure operations in support of product development, release, and launch
  • Support strategic planning processes, strategic plans, implementation of operational KPIs, and special projects
  • Coordinate key product releases and launches for mission critical initiatives
  • Make it easy for product success teams to work across the business by developing sustainable and scalable solutions that reduce friction
  • Enable product success teams to work effectively with the organization so that stakeholders are ready to support new products and enhancements
  • Elevate voice of customer feedback from customer-facing teams and user data in product planning motions and facilitate outcome-focused decision-making
  • Define, maintain, and enable the adoption of playbooks, templates, guidelines, and resources to support standardization across key activities
  • Manage tool stacks and vendors in partnership with product and technology leadership, promoting integrated tooling that helps everyone work together better
  • Create and maintain dashboards to surface strategic operational insights and KPIs that support leaders and teams; make recommendations on where we should focus and why based on the data
  • Communicate in creative and impactful ways to audiences of all levels
  • Democratize operational excellence by establishing best practices and mentors mid-level and junior team members

What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job

  • 5 to 7+ years in a product-related discipline in a B2B SaaS company with a strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and go-to-market activities
  • Experience increasing the impact of product teams in mid-to-large organizations.
  • Understanding of how product opportunities connect to revenue, bookings, retention, engagement, R&D/operational costs, etc.
  • Advanced Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets); SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams such as product, engineering, design, sales, support, customer success, product marketing, strategy, etc. 
  • Strong analytical mindset and critical thinking skills
  • Work in iterative ways to deliver impact under tight constraints
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, decisiveness, and bias for action; ability to champion the work and build excitement with others
  • Ability to distill clarity from ambiguity and rally diverse teams around a common goal
  • Adept at building trust and strong partnerships with others
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage a project and deliver them on time
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment, operating in ambiguity, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and taking on responsibility
