About Our Internship Program

Throughout the course of the internship, interns either work on-site or virtually and have regular events, weekly lunch and learn session and receive training customized by our business units. This unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into supporting the needs of Stanley Black & Decker both in the US and Globally. The interns will understand first-hand what a career at Stanley Black & Decker is like and have the opportunity to build a cross-functional professional network. Additional social activities are planned throughout the internship period to provide opportunity to network with SBD professionals. Interns are expected to adapt to change and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, creativity and self-confidence. Interns must be team oriented and able to work collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

During your internship you will have the opportunity to support business operations with key activities including:

You will have exposure to several areas of the Business Operation at Stanley Black & Decker and will work on a wide variety of tasks and projects with a cross functional team of professionals including: sales, operations, and business system

·       Dealer Portal Project

·       Sales Coordinator assistance and Salesforce Database Administration

·       Assist IR Inventory Analyst

·       Create reports in Excel, SAP

·       Insure orders are in the system and processed correctly

This position will provide you with:

Qualifications:

The Summer Business Operations Analyst intern candidate will preferably have the following qualifications:

· Rising Senior, Target graduation date in 2025

·  Data Analytics and/or Business Administration Degree

· Analytical forward thinking and detailed oriented

· Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills

· Successfully manage strong academics with extracurricular activities.
