Position Summary: PG&E is looking for an experienced Scrum Master who has hands-on experience with SAP implementations, either ECC or S/4HANA. You’ll be working with business-focused Agile teams while also helping the company continue its shift from waterfall to Scrum. This is a self-directed role that requires strong facilitation, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to coach teams through Agile best practices. Ideal candidates will bring a hybrid background across both Scrum and Project Management, and will have experience working in complex ERP environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Support 1 to 2 business-facing Agile teams delivering work tied to PG&E’s SAP S/4HANA implementation
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos
- Help coach teams on Scrum practices and Agile delivery, especially as they shift from traditional waterfall methods
- Partner with Product Owners, BAs, and SAP consultants to manage and refine the team backlog
- Coordinate story grooming and estimation sessions to help keep work flowing Work closely with technical and functional leads to manage dependencies, risks, and blockers across SAP streams and legacy systems
- Participate in scaled Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and System Demos
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters, RTEs, and Solution Architects to stay aligned across the program
- Use Jira and Confluence to track work and support reporting
- Provide strong communication and problem-solving support across business and technical teams
- Contribute to Agile reporting and metrics including velocity, burndown, and team engagement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in enterprise environments SAP implementation experience (ECC or S/4HANA) is required
- Background that blends Scrum Master and Project Management responsibilities
- Experience working in or supporting Agile transformation environments
- Ability to coach teams with mixed levels of Agile experience
- Strong facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in business and technical environments
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and SAP Solution Manager Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology
- Experience working within a scaled Agile framework (SAFe or similar)
- Agile certifications like CSM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe are a plus
- Experience supporting technical teams is a bonus
- Stable work history and ability to collaborate in a hybrid schedule (in-office Tues to Thurs)
