Head of Experience Marketing

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional who has a track record of building integrated experiences that wow. This person understands how to take corporate and product messaging and activate it at scale and through high-touch programs. Moreover, they should know how to align strategy with Sales to effectively build a strong pipeline and drive revenue growth.
The Asana Marketing team is responsible for fueling business growth and building a brand customers love. We create campaigns and content to attract new accounts and inspire current ones to grow with us. We continue to grow, with a global team focused on revenue and field marketing, product marketing, brand and content creation, advertising, and lifecycle marketing.
This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you're interviewing for this role, your Talent Acquisition Partner will share more about the in-office requirements.
What you’ll achieve
- Unified Marketing Strategy: Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our brand objectives, target audience, and current market trends. This strategy will help differentiate our brand through unique and impactful experiences, including campaigns, third-party event sponsorships, owned events, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), executive programs, and the Executive Briefing Center.
- Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Engagement: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create ABM strategies that effectively engage and nurture key accounts. Utilize experiential marketing techniques to personalize and tailor experiences for executives and decision-makers within our target accounts.
- Executive Relationship Building: Establish and oversee executive programs aimed at cultivating relationships with high-level stakeholders, such as C-level executives and industry thought leaders. Develop engaging and exclusive experiences that showcase our brand's value proposition and thought leadership.
- Executive Briefing Center (EBC) Management: Lead the management and optimization of our Executive Briefing Center, a dedicated space for hosting executive-level meetings and engagements. Ensure that the EBC provides a highly personalized and immersive experience that aligns with our brand's image and objectives. Additionally, build a library of executive-level content to enhance the center's offerings.
- Customer Journey Enhancement: Analyze the customer journey and identify opportunities to optimize and enhance experiences at various touch points. Improve customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering seamless and memorable interactions.
- Campaign Creation and Execution: Drive the conceptualization and execution of experiential marketing campaigns, events, and activations. Work closely with internal teams, external agencies, and vendors to deliver high-quality, immersive experiences for third-party events, ABM initiatives, executive programs, and EBC engagements.
- Technology and Innovation Integration: Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, and leverage cutting-edge tools and techniques to create unique and innovative experiences for our target audience.
- Metrics and Analytics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of marketing initiatives. Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance, extracting valuable insights to inform future strategies and optimize return on investment (ROI).
About you
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, with a specific focus on experience marketing, ABM, executive programs, and executive briefing center management. Demonstrated track record of conceptualizing and executing successful experiential campaigns and engagements.
- Managerial Excellence: You have a proven track record as an exceptional manager, adept at leading and inspiring teams. Your ability to provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship fosters a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
- Campaign Innovator: You possess a creative mindset and a proven ability to conceptualize and execute experiential marketing campaigns, events, and activations, bringing both product and the latest messaging to life.
