WHO YOU ARE 

Explore Schools is seeking a Program Team Manager with outstanding interpersonal skills, a meticulous eye for the details, best in class organizational skills, outstanding follow-through, and an eagerness to learn through providing invaluable support to Program Team. The ideal candidate has at least two years of administrative experience within the education sector and a passion for mission-driven work in partnership and service of our school communities. Additionally, you are or possess the following: 

  • You are willing to engage in identity work necessary to heighten your own awareness and improve your capacity to view your workstreams through an anti-white supremacy lens 
  • You operate with professional integrity 
  • You are flexible and able to switch between priorities and meet a diverse set of expectations and workstreams in support of your team’s goals

  • You possess strong attention to detail  
  • You exercise a growth mindset when thinking about your own work and the work of others 
  • You recover from mistakes or misses through reflection, ownership, and collaboration 
  • You are a self-starter and able to take initiative 
  • You can create and maintain systems that enhance team efficiency 
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • 1-2 years of administrative or teaching experience preferred 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

The Program Team Manager will manage complex administrative tasks and drive key organizational initiatives, collaborating with our CEO, our Senior Leadership Team, and members of our Program Team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Attend (when applicable) and support the logistics of Program Team meetings, Instructional Leader Development Days, Upper School Content Roll Offs, and occasional school-based visits and their related One Note Pages 
  • Coordinate the Program Team school visit and meeting calendar on a termly basis 
  • Lead the assessment calendar creation process for the following school year 
  • Collaborate with Chief Academic Officer, Program Team and Special Projects Team to create the in-service schedule, prework and supporting documents 
  • Manage our weekly leader email deliverables by supporting the CAO in setting internal deadlines for program team and supporting CAO in composing leader-facing blurbs 
  • Coordinate the School Year Preparation One Note which gives schools key structures to update and refine for implementation the following year such as scheduling guidelines, grading policy, etc. 
  • Collaborate with Chief Academic Officer to build Program Team meeting agendas 
  • Assist Chief Academic Officer with deck design, data visualization needs, communications, and other projects 
  • Collaborate with Special Projects teams on joint projects including but not limited to:  
  • Network Events Calendar Management - Program Related (ex. ILDs, Roll Offs etc) 
  • Calendaring key dates for professional development and deliverables on our annual leadership planning calendar (LPC) 
  • Creating shared data decks for program team use to present data-driven planning (DDP) processes 
  • Event operations and logistics at our training days such as in-services
