DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? 


The ideal candidate will provide supervisory support through direct supervision and coordination within the highly automated HDGL to meet the business goals of ArcelorMittal Calvert. 


The Basics: 


•    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management or similar; 4-year degree or Military leadership experience 4+ years, or 4+ years’ experience in increasing responsibility roles in industrial or steel mill
•    Computer skills to include Microsoft Office, web applications, and SAP
•    Must be willing to lead by example and provide accountability for direct reports

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
•    Supervises and directs maintenance personnel on the specific duties to be accomplished each day
•    Enforces company policies using coaching and disciplinary recommendations
•    Performs the shift turnover with the previous and following shifts
•    Works closely with Maintenance team to diagnose problems
•    Works on continuous improvement of process
•    Manages personnel work schedules, attendance and timekeeping
•    Schedules and assigns required training for direct reports
•    Responsible for documentation and reporting of issues in mill with root cause analysis and recommends solutions
•    Responsible for the safety, order, and cleanliness of area
•    Demonstrate the company values of Safety, Teamwork, Accountability, Relationships, and Sustainability
