 Job Description:

Accenture Federal Services’ National Security Portfolio (NSP) is seeking a highly motivated Senior Information System Security Officer to support the integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of a Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) system to provide maritime domain awareness in Northern Africa. The system will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating security information to enhance the security and force protection of maritime boundaries, natural resources, and strategic ports. The ideal candidate will work as part of an integrated team based in greater Boston, Massachusetts, to support the design and implementation of systems security features.

The Work:

  • Identify, Select, and implement applicable security controls for various operating systems and applications, applicable security standards and frameworks
  • Develop and maintain bodies of evidence (BOE) for managed information systems, services, and networks
  • Develop and Disseminate system security policy, process, and likewise governing product, in service of maintaining a low operational risk picture
  • Support internal vulnerability assessments and facilitate external audits
  •  Coordinate security-related tasks and activities across other functional areas E.g. Program Management, Engineering, Software Development, etc.
  • Produce documentation in response to, and satisfaction of information security requirements. Examples are: SSPs, RARs POA&Ms, SCTMs, Test reports, Briefings and Training products
  • Assist in a secure change management process and related CCBs
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and complex tasks in a dynamic work environment

Here's what you need:

  • DoDI 8570 IAM Level III/ IAT Level III Certification
  • BS and 3+ years of prior experience; Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years experience with:
    •  NIST SP 800-37, CNSSI 1253, FIPS 199 and NIST SP 800-53
    • Risk Management-Experience doing Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) tracking
    • Creating metrics
    • Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation processes
    • Administering Windows, Linux, VMWare, and Cisco network devices, in an enterprise or tactical environment
  • 1+ years experience with the Microsoft Office Suite. E.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Understanding of classified networks, systems, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Expert in creating presentations and presenting policies, guidance, and procedures regularity
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies
  • Experience implementing a robust Security Event and Incident Management (SEIM) system

Security Clearance:

  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.   
 
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:  
California: $122,600 - $234,900
Colorado: $122,600 - $202,900
New York: $113,500 - $234,900
Washington: $130,500 - $215,900
