Your Role
This role supports Stellarus within the Ascendiun Family of Companies. The Risk Management & Controls Assurance team delivers actionable insights by quantifying IT and business risk to increase resilience while driving a security culture. This Program Manager, Principal role will report to the Senior Manager. In this role you will develop, provide oversight, and support a governance process to ensure compliance of the Technology Ownership & Accountability policy.

Your Work
In this role, you will:
Program Leadership
- Operate at a strategic business level to ensure initiatives are in line with Stellarus strategic goals
- Consult with all levels including senior management, make recommendations, and influence decision-making
Program Execution
- Coordinate with leadership and build business cases to support short-term and long-term goals
- Leverage cross-functional internal and external relationships to drive initiatives forward
- Plan and implement multiple and extremely complex projects/programs spanning across business areas
- Determine key business issues, develop effective action plans and implement to successful conclusion
- Work with Finance and IT leadership to define financial investment model for technologies based on levers such as risk reduction and cost savings
Governance & Compliance
Partner with teams across IT to design and implement an IT technology ownership governance process
Oversee and manage said governance process, including key performance indicators and objective and key risks
Drive risk mitigation of IT controls to ensure application security
Process & Technology Risk Reduction
Coordinate and build process/artificial intelligence agents to support application of critical controls in reducing technology risks and increasing business resiliency.

- Partner with Risk Management team to define security control baseline & ensure applications adhere to said baseline
Lean -Agile Enablement
- Promote Lean-Agile principles to enable business agility, focusing on alignment, transparency, respect for people, and relentless improvement

Your Knowledge and Experience
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience
Experience in portfolio management, preferably within an Agile or SAFe environment, scrum master experience is a plus
Experience partnering with all levels of management required
Driven, energetic, team player with superior oral and written communication skills
Organizational change management skills desired
Requires deep understanding of IT control frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, ISO27001 to drive ownership and compliance in safeguarding assets and data
- Desire one or more of the following: CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
