LPN Nurse Administrator - Casa De Los Vecinos

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise assigned staff. Assist clients in administering medication and monitor compliance. Manage caseload, chart notes, monitor and manage client health needs. Prepare clients for self-medication status and monitor as needed, health assessment referrals. Develop liaisons in the community and run health-related groups, offer nursing insight in service planning meetings and nutritional counseling at weekly meal planning meetings. Provide in-service training to staff on medication and health related issues. Record keeping as per State/OMH and agency regulations, assist part time staff psychiatrist. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Related duties as assigned.
HOURS:
Full time, 37.5 hours per week
- Sunday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
NYS LPN license required.Experience with MICA population preferred. Basic computer literacy required. First Aid/CPR certification or the ability to pass test to acquire these credentials required.
*Vaccination preferred but not required.
