The Opportunity:

As the Operations and Exercises (OPEX) USASOC Counter-Threat Home Station Training Team (HSTT) Project Lead you will manage all Home Station Trainers (HST) who deliver training and training support as outlined in the Technical Direction Plan Performance Work Statement to USASOC and their strategic partners. You will ensure all HSTs effectively integrate support throughout planning and execution to enable USASOC operations worldwide and that all HSTs remain in compliance with DOD, USASOC, supported unit, and CACI policies and procedures.  Additionally, the HSTT Project lead will employ technical expertise and provide recommendations to modernize and innovate services focused on, but not limited to, counter explosive hazard (conventional, improvised, and emergent) training and individual, leader, and collective training (field training exercises, pre-mission exercises, etc.) to mitigate Peer, Near-Peer, and other adversaries’ anti-access/area denial challenges to movement and maneuver and explosive threats’ tactical surprise and strategic impacts. Finally, the Project Lead will correlate contract deliverables, lessons learned, and client feedback to report to the OPEX Functional Group Lead (FGL) or his designee.  

Responsibilities:
The HSTT Project Lead will ensure the project builds synergies, identifies and understands the interdependencies, develops and maintains consistency in process and procedures, prioritizes knowledge sharing, and realizes efficiencies across the USASOC’s improvised, conventional, and emergent threat training initiatives worldwide.   

Qualifications:

• Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance.
• A minimum of two (2) years of combined leadership and management experience in support of the US Department of Defense (DoD) 
• Demonstrated experience managing projects that directly supported US Special Operations Forces
• Minimum five (5) years SOF operational support and exercise development experience.
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written; Possess the ability to organize and deliver verbal and written products that achieve an exceptionally high standard. 
• Experience enabling rapid capability development.
• Demonstrated experience managing a geographically dispersed workforce.
• Critical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail. 
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight. 

Desired:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Five (5) years operational SOF experience.
• Experience incorporating enemy emergent threat TTPs into training programs to increase realism and maximize training effects. 
• Experience managing personnel in hazardous duty locations.
• PMP Certification; working towards certification.
