Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain and Planning Functional Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of supply chain and planning solutions within major ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Infor). This role is to collaborate with key business stakeholders and drive the successful execution of ERP projects focused on supply chain and planning processes. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, deep expertise in ERP systems, and a solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:
 
Leadership and Management:
•    Set objectives, monitor performance, and deliver high-quality ERP implementations and support.
•    Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
 
Solution Strategy and Design:
•    Oversee the design and implementation of supply chain and planning modules in major ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Infor).
•    Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop functional solutions to meet operational goals.
•    Ensure alignment between ERP solutions and business objectives, recommending best practices and enhancements.
 
Project Management:
•    Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of ERP projects, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
•    Coordinate with cross-functional teams (finance, procurement, manufacturing, etc.) to ensure seamless project execution and integrated solutions.
•    Identify and mitigate risks, ensure compliance with project goals, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
•    Process Optimization and Improvement:
•    Analyze current supply chain and planning processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose enhancements or automation strategies.
•    Lead efforts to streamline supply chain and procurement workflows, leveraging ERP systems to drive cost reduction, efficiency, and scalability.
•    Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of process improvements and ensure operational excellence.
 
Stakeholder Engagement:
•    Collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and external partners to align ERP solutions with broader organizational goals.
•    Conduct regular status updates, project reviews, and stakeholder meetings to ensure transparency and alignment across the business.
 
Support and Troubleshooting:
•    Oversee post-implementation support, ensuring the timely resolution of functional issues within supply chain and planning modules.
•    Partner with technical teams to resolve complex problems and support integrations, customizations, and reporting requirements.

 

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    7+ years of experience working with major ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Infor) in supply chain and planning roles.
•    Proven leadership experience, managing teams of functional consultants or business analysts.
•    Strong expertise in supply chain and procurement processes, with a focus on ERP systems and best practices.
•    Hands-on experience with full lifecycle ERP implementations and post-go-live support.
•    Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders, team members, and executive leadership.
•    Ability to travel overnight approx. 25% of the time.

 

Preferred Skills:
•    Certifications in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Infor (specifically in SCM and Planning modules).
•    Experience in cloud-based ERP solutions and supply chain planning tools.
