Primary purpose of the position:
Provides financial analysis & project support to the global Treasury team.
What will you be responsible for?
- Supporting project work in risk management and insurance.
- Collecting, processing, and analyzing financial data from various sources that are utilized by the financial risk management team.
- Staying updated on the latest economic, financial, and industry trends and learn how these changes impact Ball.
- Assists Global Financial Risk team with financial analysis on global commodity, foreign currency and interest rate exposures.
- Help create presentations for senior management on financial risks impacting Ball.
- Meet with key financial counterparts to learn about current activities involving financial markets and large corporations.
What are we looking for?
- Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university with a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing and have an anticipated graduation date of no earlier than December 2024.
- Training in a related field usually acquired through college courses or work-related experience.
- Job related experience for 0-1 years preferred.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using various software tools and applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Qlik, etc.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and insurance.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $24/hr - $26/hr
- May be eligible for additional housing benefits
- Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more days per work week in Colorado (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).
