Job Summary

As Senior Director of Data Strategy & Measurement at Comcast Advertising, you will be a key architect of the organization’s data and measurement strategy—driving innovation through strategic data partnerships, data licensing, and privacy-compliant data practices. This role requires deep domain expertise in media and advertising measurement and close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Partnerships, Product, Legal, Privacy, and Commercialization.

You will lead a high-performing team responsible for managing and renewing data license agreements, conducting technical due diligence, and advancing new data-driven product offerings. You’ll serve as a strategic advisor to the business, aligning data capabilities with commercial objectives and ensuring compliance with Comcast’s Privacy Program. Additionally, you will represent Comcast Advertising in industry forums, including the Media Rating Council (MRC), contributing to the evolution of TV and cross-platform measurement standards.

Responsible for identifying and strategizing plans to achieve long-term goals and objectives of the organization. Recommends the allocation of resources to existing businesses; identifies merger and acquisition opportunities. Plans the overall direction and financial planning of the Strategic Planning department. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Contributes to the development of the organization's business strategy. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Develops Company's overall strategy and leads high-priority strategic initiatives. Communicates strategy in a meaningful way and develops objectives to align with the strategy.
  • Identifies, evaluates and recommends specific merger and acquisition opportunities; supports the execution of transactions and oversees post-merger integration efforts.
  • Contributes to business development and partnership discussions, including distribution, technology/product, content and monetization deals. Recommends strategic actions. Conducts business development discussions with potential partners.
  • Oversees business modeling and long-range financial planning.
  • Manages web analytics, reporting, yield management, forecasting and data strategy.
  • Evaluates the economics and business models of specific products/services, companies and industry sectors.
  • Oversees projects for environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies related to Company's growth and profitability.
  • Develops and provides guidance to Strategic Planning team.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
