Part-time Maintenance Technician

CAMS, A Community Management company, is looking for a skilled Part-time Maintenance Technician required for a community in Morehead City, NC.

Position is part time, 15-20 hours per week. Schedule is Monday – Friday but could be 4 days per week instead of 5. On-call/emergency duties may be required. Pay is $25.00 per hour.

Description and Duties:

• Provide maintenance for all common areas, parking lot and amenities of the Association in a manner that facilitates routine operation and extended life.
• Perform routine and emergency carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, and painting maintenance functions that fall under the responsibility of the Homeowners Association (HOA).
• Ensure property security of the entire community common areas and amenities, especially when contract work is being performed.
• Monitor and enforce parking regulations and restrictions.
• Ensure the general cleanliness and appearance of all common areas and amenities.
• Follow through on work orders as assigned by Community Manager.
• Provide on-site monitoring of all contract work.
• Respond to all homeowner requests that fall under HOA responsibility.
• Inspect common areas and amenities daily for areas requiring immediate action.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs at minimum
• Must be able to climb stairwell and staircase daily
• Must be able to be flexible if duties change or vary
• Cleaning experience and minor maintenance repair experience is required
• Must be able to work outdoors and indoors
