The role

In order to complete our Direct to Consumers, Ecommerce Department, we are currently looking for an QA (Quality Assurance) - eCommerce Delivery (Nescafé Dolce Gusto)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA professional to join our team at Nestle as a QA for eCommerce Delivery. As the QA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of Magento (Adobe Commerce) releases for Nescafé Dolce Gusto in multiple countries worldwide. You will collaborate closely with our external development agency to ensure the highest level of quality and user experience for our eCommerce platform. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking and hands-on testing, with a preference for candidates with test automation experience.
 

 

What you’ll do

•    Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy for eCommerce delivery, aligned with industry best practices and standards.
•    Define and enforce QA processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure consistent and efficient testing across releases.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality goals and metrics for the eCommerce platform.
•    Collaborate with the development team and agency to define test plans, test cases, and test data for each release.
•    Conduct thorough functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure the stability and functionality of the platform.
•    Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and identify defects and areas for improvement.
•    Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
•    Identify opportunities for test automation and work towards increasing test coverage and efficiency.
•    Collaborate with the development team and agency to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
•    Track and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
•    Provide detailed defect reports and analysis to stakeholders, highlighting critical issues and trends.
•    Collaborate with the development team and agency to prioritize and resolve defects based on impact and severity.
•    Work closely with the development team and agency to ensure clear understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts and Product Owners, to validate business requirements and user stories.
•    Communicate test progress, results, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Minimum qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    Proven experience as a QA professional, in an eCommerce environment.
•    Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Magento (Adobe Commerce) is highly desirable.
•    Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, is preferred.
•    Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
•    Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and drive results.
•    Do-er, hand-on attitude and hunger for process improvements.
