Abramson Labor Group is seeking a highly motivated, well-qualified Claims Administrator to join our team in Burbank, CA.

A Workers' Compensation Claims Administrator specializes in managing claims related to workplace injuries and illnesses. They ensure that claims are processed accurately and fairly. The Claims Department manages areas including claims administration, uninsured claims, and the correction of information on the applications file for applicants. This position will report directly to the Case Initiation Manager.  

Key Responsibilities

Essential functions of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage Claims related to workplace injuries and illnesses.  
• Ensure that claims are processed accurately and fairly.
• Communicate with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Responsible for obtaining liability decisions on claims.  
• Other duties as assigned by the Case Initiation Manager.  

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent (coursework in legal studies preferred).
• Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) is required
• At least 1 year of experience in an office environment, preferably in a legal setting.
• Familiarity with basic legal terminology and office procedures is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
