Compensation: $25/hr and benefits including dental, health, and vision insurance

 

Job Summary

Employee is a member of the CRRG and Repair team, reporting to the Operations Supervisor. Primary responsibility is to support the California program by delivering and picking up analyzers. When not performing transport duties, the employee will assist the Repair team in rehabilitating returned units, support shipping and receiving functions, and perform other duties as assigned. This role requires a balance of technical aptitude, safe driving practices, and hands-on support in a warehouse and repair environment.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Transport analyzers and related equipment for the California program (pick-ups and deliveries).
  • Ensure proper handling, loading, and securing of analyzers and other equipment.
  • Assist the repair team with refurbishing, testing, and preparing returned units for redeployment.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations, including packaging, labeling, and processing shipments.
  • Maintain organized workspaces and ensure accurate paperwork and documentation.
  • Operate material handling equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies).
  • Adhere to all safety protocols while driving and in the warehouse.
  • Responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and calibration of all equipment, instruments, tools, and analytical systems in the emissions inspection program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn repair/rehab processes.
  • Knowledge of shipping/receiving practices is a plus.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. frequently and more than 50 lbs. occasionally with assistance.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

 

Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of related experience and/or training.

 

Working Conditions

  • This position involves both driving and physical work in a warehouse/repair setting.
  • Normal working hours Monday through Friday, with occasional off-hours or weekend work as required.
  • Requires the ability to travel locally within California for deliveries and pick-ups.
