Company Description

  • $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS - $500 After 30 Days + $500 After 120 Days
  • Shift: 4-10's (Monday-Thursday; 3:30pm-2:00am) = 3 DAY WEEKENDS!

Job Description

The Warehouse Team Lead is accountable for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse functions necessary to support internal and external customers. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Ensure safe working environment are maintained and all employees are following safety procedures.
  • Lead and monitor daily warehouse operations
  • Ensure that Working instructions, Standards and Guidelines are being followed on a daily basis
  • Monitor productivity and quality performance and provide coaching and feedback to hourly associates
  • Train/cross-train full-time and temporary employees in designated area of responsibility.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for process improvement
  • Effectively lead a cross functional team to support day-to-day processes
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties, administrative tasks, and production functions as needed.
  • Follow and continually monitor established safety procedures to assure a clean, safe work environment is promoted and maintained.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that interfaces well with customers, clients, co-workers and management members.
  • Assure product quality for internal and external customers.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of warehouse related experience required.
  • Experience with standardized Work and Lean Principles preferred.
  • Proven experience in Continuous improvement projects.
  • Forklift, dock truck, turret truck experience preferred.
  • Good interpersonal, conflict resolution, verbal, written and communication skills.
