Your role in our mission
- Establishes and maintains a methodology and reporting procedure for systematically measuring the quality of professional review and adjudication for each dental consultant.
- Performs quality reviews of all dental consultants and clinical screening dentists and monitors all training of dental consultants and clinical screening dentists.
- Oversees the development and implementation of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) prepared by the operating unit on instances of nonconformance with dental policy and procedures.
- Prepares monthly and quarterly reports to document all review results and Corrective Action Plans and monitors the system that tracks dental license expiration dates and ensures all unrestricted licenses to practice dentistry in the State of California.
- Ensures that dental consultants have access to current and applicable Medi-Cal, Dental manuals and the Medi-Cal Dental Program Provider Handbook (including Provider Bulletins) at all times.
What we're looking for
- DDS degree and current California license in dentistry.
- Ten years of clinical experience in general dentistry or a specialized field.
- Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of Medi-Cal Dental criteria and program.
- ASQ Quality 101 Certified or attainment within first year and CADP Certified Clinical Auditor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
What you should expect in this role
- Must be a resident of the state of California.
- Hybrid work environment 1-2 days a week in the office as needed for face-to-face and client meetings with the remainder of time remote work. The office is located in the Roseville/Sacramento area.
- Full-time employee's benefits start on their first day of employment.
- Must have internet access to work at home that at minimum meets the following standards:
- speed of 24MBS download and 8 MBS upload

The pay range for this position is $190,100.00 - $271,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
