Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates as first point of contact for guests and members.
• Efficient and courteous front desk operations including, greeting and checking in members and answering phones.
• Scheduling guest tours.
• Closing/Weekend Shift
• Scheduling Personal Training (PT) intro sessions.
• Collaboration with other gym personnel.
• Learning and running the POS system, including membership/retail transactions, processing Credit Card and Cash payments.
• Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the gym.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Effective communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ability to learn POS software.
• Membership recruitment and sales experience.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year of sales/customer service experience required, preferably in the fitness industry.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to gym elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils, human sweat, foot traffic, various exercise equipment.
