About the role

Bank Chef

Noble House, Worcester

£11.05

Hours as and when required

Do you need flexibility in the days you work? Our bank roles (sometimes referred to as “relief roles” in other companies) mean that you will be able to choose from available shifts and have the benefits of a consistent workplace combined with opportunity to build positive relationships with the individuals we support. However, you aren’t guaranteed shifts every week as hours are worked as and when required.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Bank Chef to deliver a high-quality catering service within our Taste Restaurant at Noble House. You will also manage the food and staffing budget, along with the purchase and control of stock.

Our in-house Taste Restaurant is open to customers from 8am – 6pm seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly open manner is essential for success in this role.

Our Chefs will enjoy steady hours with no split-shifts compared to other areas of the catering world, which may be a good choice if you have a family to consider or you don’t necessarily want to be working late nights.

If you want to create restaurant style food without the restaurant style hours, this is a great opportunity to hone your skill set whilst helping to create innovative menus for our customers in a relaxed environment.

Though we refer to the position as Chef, it is also known as Demi Chef, Line Chef, Cook, Chef de Partie (CDP) and Commis Chef.
