As you join our Engineering Applications team, you will have the opportunity to assist our internal customers by identifying and solving technical problems users encounter while designing in the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.  A successful candidate should enjoy and gain satisfaction from their valuable contribution to the design process.  Your ability to show interest and urgency will develop important working relationships with our design team.  A background in mechanical design gives you key insights into the overall design intent when developing solutions for our engineers.

Day-to-day activities

  • Support Engineering Application users (mainly Catia & PLM)  via the helpdesk ticketing system

  • Interact with users through live on-screen support sessions

  • Document best practices and maintain an internal knowledge base

  • Create training materials

  • Researching product functionality

Desired skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field.

  • Working knowledge of other CAD tools like NX, Creo and Solidworks is a plus.

  • Some exposure to popular PDM/PLM tools like Arena, Windchill, TeamCenter and/or Aras.

  • Been part of a major engineering CAD/PLM implementation is a major plus.

  • Proficiency in creating presentations and technical/training documentation.

  • Experience working in a customer service type role is required. 

  • Superb verbal and written skills as well as ‘soft skills’. 

  • Working in or having worked in a manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or DoD environment will be strongly considered. 

  • Eagerness to grow and learn with the organization.
