Global Senior Manager - Sustainability Key Accounts - Contract Logistics

Job Purpose;

This role will be a leader that sets global strategy and standard process for Environmental and Sustainability requirements for our Key Accounts across logistics services. This role will establish global common process and tools for accomplishing the required work in line with customer specific requirements.  The role is global in scope for logistics in all regions in scope currently, but will support growth Environmental and Sustainability requirements for Key Customers globally.

This role will participate in environmental and sustainability due diligence activities in both new and existing key account sites. This role will monitor and report the global KPIs for environment and sustainability specifically for the Key Accounts and ensure that their supplier ESG requirements are met.

Key Accountabilities:

• Primary Contact for the Environmental and Sustainability leads for our Key Global Accounts.
• Create the CL Environmental and Sustainability strategy for Key Global Accounts in partnership with the customers and DP world standards.
• Ensure that all new key customer requirements for sustainability, climate action and carbon reduction programmes are reviewed, assessed and implemented in conjunction with DP world Sustainability Strategy
• Evaluate and share the latest innovations and technology/systems available for environmental and sustainability in logistics
• Monitor and support the environmental and sustainability projects at a site level ensuring that best practices are shared and communicated for our Key Account Sites. 
• Provision of specialist environmental and sustainability assistance to global launch teams and regional QEHS specialists.
• Ensuring Key Accounts get timely environmental data and sustainability updates as per the customer required service level agreements.
• Implementation and Training of best practice environmental monitoring processes including but not limited to; environmental policies, environmental reporting, environmental aspects and impacts identification, waste management, energy efficiency, environmental innovations, carbon reduction.
• Planning and monitoring the requirements of ISO 14001/50001 and/or customer required ESG management systems for our Key Global Accounts.
• Analysis of Key Trends and issues raised for Key Accounts through the GHSE reporting applications and associated corrective and preventative action planning.
• Liaison with the regional environmental and sustainability teams in Contract Logistics to share best practices and innovations.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience;

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree or higher – in an Environmental or engineering field of study
• Professional Qualification in Environmental Management or Sustainability

Preferred:

• Project Management experience managing environmental/sustainability projects globally.
• Experienced in the development and implementation of sustainability programmes for large, diverse and complex international clients

EXPERIENCE 

• Have a minimum of 10 years’ strong experience in managing environmental and sustainability programmes in a multinational organisation – preferably logistics or technology.
• Implementation experience of ISO 140001/50001
• Experienced in Environmental Strategy, ESG reporting and GHG calculations.
• Experienced in NQC/SAQ/Ecovadis or equivalent environmental performance monitoring requirements 

Definite asset:

• Experience in sustainability reporting and environmental project management;
• Experienced in the logistics or technology businesses 
• Knowledge of the Responsible Business Alliance
