Job Description Summary
Maximus is looking for a Facilities Security Representative in Arlington, VA. What you will do: • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving techniques and clearly and logically articulate conclusions and recommendations, both verbally and in writing.• Manage multiple projects, interfacing with high-level client contacts as needed, including preparing and delivering presentations.• Conduct vendor management activities to support facility requirements.• Escort classified and unclassified personnel throughout facility.• Assist the government in developing SOWs, cost estimates, facility technical proposals, move-add-change requirements, AutoCAD drawings, Gantt charts, and project schedules for various facility projects.• Assist the government in utilizing software tools such as Microsoft Project or MAXIMO.• With government approval, facilitate internal and external working groups.• Interface with facility occupants on project requirements.• Assist in the development of budgets and the coordination of procurement activities pertaining to architecture and engineering, facilities management, and facilities operations and maintenance.• Assist the government in monitoring compliance with environmental and energy efficiency legislation and mandates.• Assist the government in providing quality workspaces.• With government approval, serve as Site Security Manager to manage project design and/or construction efforts, to include schedule, funding, and day-to-day project oversight.• With government approval, serve as Special Security Officer (SSO), and/or Special Security Representative (SSR) at designated location(s).• Assist with the administration and implementation of policy-compliant information security (INFOSEC), physical security (PHYSEC), operations security (OPSEC), personnel security (PERSEC), communications security (COMSEC), security education, training, and awareness programs (SETA).• Maintain, modify, and prepare for Government approval, security standard operating procedures (SOP), OPSEC plans, DD Form 254s, emergency action plans (EAPs), and program protection plans (PPPs).• Assist the Government Security team in drafting, investigating, and processing of inquiries into reports of security incidents.• Maintaining and updating a classified document and media control and accountability process.• Conduct annual inventories of classified information IAW all applicable DoD security policies and local security SOPs.Required Skills & Qualifications: • Due to Federal requirements candidates must possess an active Top Secret/SCI.• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or General) (A high school, vocational school, or trade school diploma and five years of work experience in a similar field may be substituted for degree requirement)• 3 or more years of Special Security Officer/Special Security Representative experience.• 3 or more years' experience working in a Special Access Program facility.• 3 or more years of federal or DoD secure facility management experience, to include all phases of the facility lifecycle process planning, programming, design, SCIF construction IAW Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, SCIF Accreditation, and implementation of SCIF SCI Management Programs• SCIF Site Security Manager experience• Knowledge of Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems• Demonstrated experience using at least one of the following tools: Archibus, MAXIMO, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office• Demonstrated experience managing multiple, demanding, and complex tasks in a timely manner with accurate results• Ability to respond to after-hours on-site availability as the need arisesDesired/Preferred Skills & Qualifications:• Master's degree in architecture, architectural engineering, or a related technical degree from an accredited school• Professional Engineering License (PE), Registered Architect (RA), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Project Management Professional (PMP) or American Institute of Architects (AIA) certification• International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Certification• Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) Security Professional Education Development (SPēD) Certifications• SCIF Construction and implementation / application of ICD 705, Intelligence Community Standard (ICS) 705-1, and ICS 705-2#techjobs #clearance #DISACESO
