The Role at a Glance

Lincoln National Corporation seeks a Sr. Analyst, Application Development in Greensboro, NC to design, implement and maintain multiple applications and integrations for Lincoln’s Medical Underwriting and Group Protection Business. Work on a team that has fully adopted agile methodology, mature DevOps and practices a “you build it, you own it” model. Candidate must be comfortable working in a team dynamic as well as taking on independent projects to completion. This role includes monitoring of AWS Cloud Services for efficiency and cost optimization, maintaining compliance of security standards and expected contribution to the creation of the technical roadmap for how solutions are architected and implemented. This senior level position will own and manage the full lifecycle of web applications; from designing, coding, testing, building, deploying, and monitoring for both Cloud and onPrem environments. 

Requirements 
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 5 years professional experience as a full stack developer, with 3 years developing applications in a Java framework using AWS. Experience must include:

•    5 yrs constructing and implementing software within a full stack environment (Front end, API, persistence, integrations).
•    5 yrs working with Oracle/SQL database utilizing SQL Developer and PL/SQL Query Language.
•    5 yrs experience in Spring Boot (Java) and Angular 2.0+ framework.
•    5 yrs working with microservice design (Service-Oriented Architecture) and RESTful web services.
•    3 yrs working within a fully dedicated Agile team.
•    3 yrs using tools such as Atlassian (Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence), Gitlab, New Relic to drive operations and collaboration.
•    3 years working in a fully DevOps environment building and deploying applications in AWS including CICD pipeline building and management.

The pay range for this position is $140,587 - $150,000 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
