Schedule & Compensation: 

• Full Time, 40 hours weekly
• Monday- Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
• $19/hour

Job Description

• Provides specific therapeutic programs to include recreational and social activities that meet the needs, interests, and capabilities of program participants.
• Implements recreational therapy for program participants and ensures that participants have the opportunity to be engaged in programming that meet their needs.
• Records, signs, and dates progress reports in the participant’s medical record as applicable. 
• Attends and actively participates in committees as assigned. 
• Encourages program participants to partake in self-directed and group activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Training/education in therapeutic recreation or in the human services field is preferred. 
• Valid driver's license required. 
• CPR Certification required. 
• One (1) year experience working with the senior population required.
• Two (2) years related work experience preferred.
