We’re looking for a digital content publisher to join our ranks. If you are looking to use your content management and publishing skills to improve efficiency, this is the role for you! Commonwealth is looking for a Digital Content Publisher to be responsible for accurate and timely publishing of content across existing customer channels. This role manages a high volume of content and communications that requires strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize a fluctuating workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with content and communications teams to understand their publishing calendar cadence
- Publishing all assets listed in the content and communications calendar accurately and on time
- Uploading final content assets in a variety of formats including news articles, email newsletters, landing pages, etc. into respective platforms
- Requesting content publication on channels for which there is no management system
- Making content updates across several channels on an as-needed basis
- Creating and executing a publishing schedule to keep our stream of content and communications publishing uninterrupted
- Establishing a solid communications publishing workflow to ensure the agreed upon publishing velocity
- Acquiring strong knowledge of site standards, modules, templates, and widgets
- Handling tracking tags for content to monitor engagement
- Developing quarterly data insight reports for content and communications performance
Core Strengths and Skills
- Understanding of content and communications templates and channels to inform publishing activities and best practices
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities
- Strong knowledge of tool and template capabilities and standards
- Experience in content and communications creation a plus
- Familiarity with Workfront or similar project management tool
- Knowledge of content and communications strategy and marketing best practices
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in web content publishing and communications delivery
- Proven track record of successful projects
- Process-driven, grammatically adept, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, GA4, and content performance reporting
- Ability to solve problems swiftly
- Organized and detail-oriented with time management and multitasking abilities
