What You’ll Be Doing

As a Junior SAP Financial Services Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing value to our clients and driving successful projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Understanding Business Needs:
• Grasp basic accounting concepts and analyze typical business scenarios and processes in insurance operations such as underwriting, risk management, accounting, and finance.
• Collaborate with clients to gather and document requirements, leveraging technology to meet business needs.
• Data Management:
• Define data requirements for SAP solutions, load source financial data, and perform data quality checks.
• Transform, map, and enrich financial data using tools like SAP BW.
• Develop reconciliation reports and mechanisms in HANA Studio to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Configuration and Implementation:
• Configure scenarios in SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) to support projects like IFRS 17 implementations.
• Create and maintain expense allocation models using SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM).
• Perform rigorous testing and validation of solutions, including data reconciliations.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for both statutory requirements and management purposes using SAP Analysis for Office and SAC.
• Technical and Methodological Expertise:
• Apply SAP methodologies, tools, and accelerators to deliver top-tier solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP innovations and integrate them into client solutions where appropriate.
• Learning and Certification:
• Pursue and maintain SAP certifications in areas like SAP FPSL, PaPM, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA, and S/4HANA.
• Collaboration and Teamwork:
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude while adapting to changing priorities.
• Actively contribute to solution demos and pre-sales initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Science or Technology (e.g., Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering) combined with a post-grad degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Data Management.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles through education or experience.
• Team player with excellent verbal and written skills in English and Greek.
• Experience in professional services, financial services (banking or insurance), or SAP Financials, and SAP certifications are a plus!

• A background and experience within the professional services sector (business and/or technology consulting) or relevant experience in the sectors of Financial Services (Banking and Insurance)
• Previous experience with financial reporting under IFRS.
• Previous experience in SAP Financials (ECC or S/4HANA), SAP BW, SAP BusinessObjects and/or SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Profitability and Performance Management or any other SAP solution related to Financial Reporting and Profitability.
