We're hiring an experienced leader to build and foster robust maintenance planning and supply chain functions for robotics solutions solving business problems. About the Role

You will oversee maintenance planning and supply chain at DoorDash Labs. This will include creating maintenance programs, planning and compliance to PM schedules, planning hardware and firmware upgrades, asset relocations, logistics, and parts inventory & demand planning. You will ensure all of this is tracked in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). You will work cross-functionally with both the operations and engineering teams to achieve your objectives. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Technical Operations in our DoorDash Labs organization. For the right candidate, this role is remote-friendly.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

• Foster a safety-first approach to maintenance planning and supply chain management
• Create and execute fleet wide retrofits plans in collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement
• Create & optimize a maintenance program in collaboration with the engineering reliability team to optimize fleet availability
• Plan & manage asset relocations for new product introduction, servicing, and market entry/growth
• Manage the service bill of materials and implement effective min/max inventory for all parts
• Continue to build and maintain all of the enterprise asset management system data
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Hire and develop the team, creating career paths into maintenance planning and supply chain management
• Lead by example, actively engaging with and understanding frontline maintenance and supply chain operations
• Vet and accept additional scope to facilitate maximum on-road production and efficiency for field development and commercial operations 

You may flex to nights or weekends to oversee and spotcheck the team to ensure operational continuity during critical periods.

• 6+ years of experience
• Experience leading maintenance planning / supply chain programs
• Prior experience in robotics or autonomous vehicles 
• Experience with fleet management CMMS / EAM SaaS-based systems and other tools
• Believe in 1% improvement every day

Compensation

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.

• For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
• For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.$88,700—$149,000 USD
