Financial Analyst (Hybrid Role)

Reports To: VP, Business Initiatives & Performance

As a Financial Analyst at KCH Transportation, you’ll play a critical role in driving the company’s financial strategy and performance. You’ll partner with leadership to analyze data, build forecasts, and deliver insights that guide key business decisions across the organization. Day-to-Day:

• Analyze financial performance and identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.

• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow.

• Partner with business leaders to assess profitability, cost structures, and ROI on strategic initiatives.

• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reports, including variance and margin analyses.

• Support cash flow and working capital management through daily and weekly forecasting.

• Conduct market and industry benchmarking to support competitive positioning.

• Maintain data accuracy across systems (Excel, NetSuite, Tableau, etc.).

• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and insights to support operations and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field required.

• 2–3 years of financial analysis experience (logistics, supply chain, or transportation preferred).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insight.

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with NetSuite or Tableau is a plus.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail.

• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a team-driven environment.
