Adapt for Life is looking for a Regional Director of Clinical for our 5-7 clinics located in the Indianapolis area The ideal candidate will reside within a 60–90 minute drive to the Indianapolis Metro area and must be willing to travel for onsite clinic visits at least 2-3 days per week and potentially for overnight stays.

The Regional Clinical Director serves as a leader of the company and provides administrative oversight and assistance to the clinic staff, ensuring the development, organization, implementation and evaluation of clinic operations. Provides oversight and management of all clinical functions and supports the growth of clinic operations. This is a Salary Exempt position.

Responsibilities/essential functions:

Clinical Services

1. Responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive behavioral assessments and behavioral treatment programs for children, their families, and their community caregivers
2. Manage coordination of case management activities
3. Assist VPCO in providing regular training to clinical directors and BCBAs as needed
4. Responsible for providing clinically and ethically appropriate supervision and training of Registered Behavior Technicians as needed/based on individual clinic needs
5. Ability to travel independently to clients’ homes and other community locations
6. Maintenance of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Portal including updating continuing education and updating supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians
7. Assist with Registered Behavior Technician competencies
8. Demonstration of basic assessment abilities
9. Compete clinical training with a mentor
10. Proficient of Adapt for Life billing training competency
11. Proficient Assessment skills including but not limited to VB-MAPP, AFLS, ABLLS-R, PEERS, Socially Savvy, etc.
12. Completion of various continued education courses (CEUs)
13. Completion of ongoing Adapt for Life courses as they arise
14. Demonstrate ability to manage and coach clinicians with more challenging clients
15. Mentor newly certified Board Certified Behavior Analysts
16. Assist with personnel management
17. Assist with good fit intakes
18. Assist with management Registered Behavior Technician supervision reports
19. Certified Organizational Behavior Management coursework
20. Manage clinical and operations of the identified clinics if their assigned area
21. Audit billable notes (51, 53, 55, 56) – however you want to state that
22. Assist in maintenance of BHCOE accreditation
23. Ability to travel to out of state conferences
24. Complete treatment plan reviews for CD
25. Manage utilization of BCBA and implementation of contingences
26. Manage utilization of individual clinics
27. Assist with hiring and onboarding of CDs
28. Coordinate with Director/VP of operations to ensure timely growth of new clinics including hiring new BCBAs
29. Coordination with Director/VPO to ensure timely growth of BCBA caseloads
30. Provide additional clinical assistance to BCBAs and/ CDs in the clinic
31. Assist with tasks as directed by the VPCO
32. Help ensure quality of ABA services implemented by RBTs and BCBAs
33. Conduct CR program audits
34. Assist with internal review process
35. Attend and/or lead weekly CD meetings
36. Visit all clinics on a quarterly basis
37. Visit local clinics on a biweekly basis
38. Any additional tasks requested of your supervisor.

Administrative

1. Timely completion all paperwork and phone contacts to caregivers, funding sources, outside agencies and schools (as appropriate) regarding treatment and development of treatment plans, goals, and objectives
2. Timely response to all internal and external audit requests

Professional Conduct

1. Establish effective clinical and ethical relationships with clients and families, and maintain appropriate boundaries
2. Establish and maintain professional and ethical working relationships with staff and in collaborations with funding sources, community agencies, schools, medical practices, and other therapy providers
3. Comply with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts

Requirements

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

1. Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education/special education, or a related field
2. BCBA/BCaBA Certification required and in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
3. Current/ability to obtain Behavior Analyst Licensure if require
