Director of Product Management and Delivery

Key Responsibilities
Define the product vision for external client-facing APIs and tools that enable self-service custom index creation and simulation.
Lead and develop a high-performing Product Management and Delivery function, ensuring the team remains lean and passionate about delivering the target-state platform.
Partner with the Head of Platform Strategy to assess resource needs and arrive efficient organisational structure to support business objectives and the delivery of the product roadmap.
Collaborate with Product, Research, and Operations teams to translate business and customer needs into functional applications and services, ensuring operationalization.
Work closely with Engineering to build and lead detailed end-to-end technical plans and roadmaps that align with business deliverables and revenue goals.
Engage directly with customers and partners to validate the product engineering roadmap and ensure alignment with market needs.
Communicate the strategic technical vision and aligned delivery roadmap to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and consensus.
Facilitate the design of a future-state FTSE Russell delivery operating model that streamlines and aligns product delivery processes across the organisation.
Foster the use of automation and modern, innovative technology to drive efficiency and innovation within FTSE Russell Engineering.
Handle costs efficiently while delivering the product roadmap across all index applications and services.

Extensive experience leading large, sophisticated program management and product engineering delivery.

Strong track record of leading and developing high-performing teams of product owners, program managers, business analysts, and engineers.
Deep product and technical knowledge of financial instruments, including indices and analytics, and how they are used in the market.
Ability to work optimally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Self-motivated, solution-focused, and team-oriented, with a passion for delivering results.
Experience working in a global organisation, with the ability to deliver agile solutions that meet customer demands.
Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions and take ownership of a large-scale transformation program.
A strong desire to learn, investigate, and break down barriers to drive innovation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Compensation/Benefits Information (New York applicants only):
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $183,000 - $340,000.Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
