Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team at Road and Rail. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the receiving, storing, and shipping of products. This role requires a reliable individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that inventory is organized, and products are accurately prepared for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments to ensure accuracy and quality of products.
• Organize and store products in the warehouse according to established procedures.
• Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment in a timely and accurate manner.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine stock counts.
• Ensure the warehouse area is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to meet daily operational goals.
• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift certification is a plus, but training will be provided.
• Driver's License Required
