DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

The ideal candidate will provide technical and leadership support for Cold Roll Mill electricians and mechanics to meet the business goals of ArcelorMittal Calvert. 

The Basics:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Operations Management or similar 4-year degree, 4+ years of Military leadership experience, or 4+ years’ experience in increasing responsibility roles in industrial or steel mill
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in an ArcelorMittal Calvert Maintenance Department or industry equivalent
  • Strong understanding of maintenance practices and heavy industrial equipment
  • Sound experience with SAP MEP, MS Word, and Excel
  • Must be willing to lead by example and provide accountability for direct reports

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Ensure all direct reports perform all tasks with the highest level of safety and quality
  • Oversee the execution of the daily scheduled work plan with the shift maintenance workforce
  • Verify all work order time entries, CBT and other training courses are completed on time and accurately
  • Train maintenance shift team members
  • Enforce company policies using coaching and disciplinary recommendations
