This role will be based out of our New York City (Bryant Park) office.
Salary: $162,000-215,000
(Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes bonus, long term incentives and other benefits.)
About the Role
Our team is in search of a highly motivated and experienced Data Product Manager to be a leader in our Global Data organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and delivering data products geared towards solving business problems and provide commercial value to our customers as well as our company.
You Will:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, data analysts and business stakeholders, to define and prioritize product requirements
- Lead the development and launch of data-driven products, including defining requirements, creating product roadmaps, and working with engineering and analytics teams to ensure successful delivery
- Act as the primary point of contact for commercial stakeholders and communicate product vision, strategy, and status
- Take ownership of understanding the business and operational problems at hand and how to best solve them through a data-driven approach
- Be the thought partner with commercial stakeholders on various topics such as setting key performance indicators, ideation of future experiments etc.
- Prioritize and find the most efficient path towards solving complex, ambiguous business problems with data, keeping a mindset of simplicity, robustness and speed above all
- Use data and metrics to track product performance and drive continuous improvement
- Work fluidly across ABI’s global and local teams and functions (sales, finance, marketing, product, IT, etc.) to make data-driven initiatives successful in an efficient way
About You
- A self-starter who can independently deliver meaningful results as well as work well in highly entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment with teams on a regular basis
- Ability to deliver on tight timelines and move quickly while maintaining attention to details
- Lead from the front – not afraid to get hands dirty in troubleshooting a data problem or chasing a modeling issue through resolution
- A creative thinker – enjoys challenges and has a passion for solving complex problems and generating multi-functional solutions
- Have strong communication skills - able to clearly understand business objectives and translate them to an end to end analysis and a compelling story
- Have experience working with both highly technical and non-technical profiles on a day-to-day basis
Desired Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Math, Physics, Statistics, Operations Research, or similar technical field), MS a plus
- 7+ years of experience in the field of data products, e.g. dashboards, ML models etc. or experience in business intelligence, analytics and data science
- Proven problem-solving skill
