The Mobile Crisis Supervisor leads the charge, where every day presents a new opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. In this vital supervisory role, you will oversee the operations of our Mobile Rapid Response Crisis Teams (MRRCT), ensuring smooth and effective delivery of immediate support and interventions. Your expertise will guide a team of dedicated professionals as they navigate complex crisis situations, offering assessment, support, and direct interventions under your supervision. 

 

Your role is pivotal in coordinating crisis response efforts in partnership with emergency responders, developing and refining intervention strategies, and maintaining high standards of care. You'll provide direct supervision, mentorship, and professional development to your team, enhancing their ability to perform under pressure and deliver care with empathy and precision. Collaboration with community partners will be essential to enrich service delivery and improve outcomes, making your role critical in fostering strong community ties and enhancing the overall effectiveness of our crisis interventions.

 

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, and experience in mental health services and crisis intervention. You must demonstrate robust leadership capabilities, have a flexible schedule to oversee varied operations, and possess a deep commitment to promoting culturally competent, trauma-informed care.   • Full-time NOC (overnight) shift Supervisor (12:00am-8:30am) Sunday - Thursday

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support the mobile crisis team, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to best crisis intervention and behavioral health care practices.
  • Crisis Response Coordination: Oversee the deployment of mobile crisis teams to respond to crisis situations in the community, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Diversity, Equity, Justice, Inclusion: Relate to others professionally, respecting individual and cultural differences. Educate yourself and your team on how cultural backgrounds might impact crisis intervention and treatment.
  • Staff Training and Development: Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their crisis assessment and intervention skills.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of services provided by the mobile crisis team, conducting regular evaluations of case documentation, client feedback, and team performance.
  • Client Support and Intervention: Participate in complex crisis cases and facilitate clinical decision-making, ensuring that each client's needs are adequately addressed using the least restrictive clinically appropriate interventions.
  • Collaboration with Community Resources: Strengthen the mobile crisis response network by building and maintaining relationships with local emergency services, behavioral health agencies and facilities, health care providers, and community organizations that provide support for social determinants of health.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to crisis intervention services, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Data Collection and Reporting: Collect and analyze data related to crisis interventions, prepare reports for management on program outcomes, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Crisis Awareness and Education: Facilitate training and workshops in the community to educate stakeholders about mental health crises, available resources, and the role of the mobile crisis team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Provides direct clinical supervision to team members in the program. Conducts supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
