INFORMATION SECURITY POLICY AND COMPLIANCE LEADER

Position Focus: Overall Mission of Position
Lear Corporation is seeking a candidate to join its global Information Security Team to be responsible for leading the governance and coordination of the Information Security Management System including ongoing governance of the information security policies and standards, coordination of certain risk management functions, participating in various governance, risk and compliance projects, and being a trusted advisor on policy and compliance for the organization. This role will work with the global information security team and interact directly with the global business and IT leaders.
The Role: Global Information Security Policy and Compliance Leader, an IT Division Manager position
- Information Security Management System (ISMS) rollout, communication, training and ongoing support of the policies and standards within Lear.
- Liaison with global IT in regions and central functions for risk and compliance related topics (internal controls, data governance, risk management, etc.)
- Cross-functional support and assistance to Compliance and other risk functions within Lear in the coordination and governance of policies and compliance activities.
- Communication of updates to policies and standards to the impacted parties.
- Support to the regional and central risk managers in the Information Security Governance team, a second line of defense function within Lear.
- Reporting to Director of Information Security Risk and Compliance, with certain direct responsibilities to the CISO, Deputy CISO and CIO.
Position Specific Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 5-8 years of risk management, policy management, internal audit, external audit, and/or information security experience.
- Knowledge and experience of ISO27001 standards (or directly related framework) required
- Fluent English language skills is a necessity
- CISA, CIA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, CPA, CFE or other relevant certification is required
- Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Will be coordinating and communicating with many locations globally, so strong organization and communication skills (both verbal and written) are a must.
- The successful candidate will need to have a strong understanding of information security governance, risks, compliance and controls, and general awareness of various regulations related to privacy and information security
