PURPOSE
To improve student achievement by performing a variety of skilled work in the maintenance, construction and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

General knowledge in two or more maintenance fields of work including landscaping, rough carpentry, commercial painting, building systems, metal work, heating, and welding.

Experience in general maintenance and repairs in commercial real estate.

General knowledge of the use of computers and smartphones.

Ability to receive direction and carry out tasks with moderate supervision.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support district maintenance personnel across multiple trades on a rotating basis. Areas of district personnel support include but are not limited to: groundskeepers, carpenters, HVAC workers, roofer, locksmith, and painters.

Corrective and routine work on daily and emergency work orders.
