Job Description
Summary: The Manager, Strategic Projects is responsible for performing competitive analysis, assessing organic and inorganic growth opportunities, and managing a portfolio of projects that drive long-term business growth for Chromalloy.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Assess market trends and competitive landscape, with a strong focus on metrics and analytics.
- Review feasibility of new markets and their potential growth opportunities
- Curate M&A by identifying strategic opportunities focused on gaining additional market share or access to new markets. Review company fundamentals, assess potential synergies, and provide short and long-term strategic, actionable recommendations based on detailed intel to senior leadership in support of deal decisions.
- Analyze operational effectiveness of internal departments and functions. Mine internal data warehouses including PowerBI to identify trends and opportunities for improvement and develop performance measures to determine effectiveness.
- Plan, implement and manage a portfolio of internal growth and improvement initiatives to achieve specific measurable results.
- Develop standard work and processes including metrics, dashboards, models, reports, and review templates, that ensure high visibility, agility, and accountability towards meaningful business outcomes.
- Collaborate with growth and strategy team members and other business stakeholders (Business Development, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal) to drive alignment and action towards the most important priorities.

Qualifications
Education: Degree in business or finance (will consider engineering with relevant experience). MBA preferred.
Experience: 7-10 years in a sales / operations / finance / engineering / strategy role at a mid-to-large company with decision-making responsibilities and accountability for financial outcomes. Prior experience at a turbine OEM, MRO, or airline company is a plus.
